The Brief:

We were approached by the new owner of Tyn Dwr Hall, an 19th century estate in Wales, to help visualise the new designs for the interior of this majestic, period property.  The plan was to transform Tyn Dwr Hall into an impressive wedding/events venue.  As the renovation works would take a number of months to complete, the owner wanted to use photo-real images in his marketing material and website.  This would ensure that prospective clients could see the proposed designs/potential of the property and influence the likelihood of future bookings, once the venue was open for business.

The Solution:

We worked alongside the proprietor and the Interior Designer assigned to the project.  Having received the various floor plans and product/inspiration images, we constructed five 3D models that included all the necessary design elements of each interior.  We asked for photographs of the architectural details of the actual interiors so that they could be replicated in the photo-real visuals.  This would help to provide context to the 3D visuals but also reinforce the realism of each image.  For each interior, the client was presented with a draft 3D image for review, where, on a number of occasions, revisions were made to certain aspects of the design, before the final 3D images were forwarded, as per the brief.
