Dark and elegant peacock wallpaper is so right as the backdrop for Old World table décor set out on a draped white linen cloth, but I’m thinking what a great wall it would make in a contemporary white room. It’s a stunning pattern and colour palette.
Called No Plan this cool city street map wallpaper would work well in many applications. It looks as if it were created just for this lofty dining space. Isn’t the metallic pendant lighting fixture a clever touch?
I am totally captivated by designer Christian Benini’s wallcoverings. This one, called Desus, looks as if it were carved into the wall by some unknown master craftsman.
Quirky geometrics and beautifully aged hues are at once rustic and contemporary with roots set firmly in the past. It’s quite stunning in this moody powder room.
We don’t always use metallic and grasscloth in the same sentence, but that’s exactly what this wallcovering is. The silvery textured beauty could easily span the style range from elegant traditional to cool contemporary.
Wallpapers like this aged wood look are called realistic and that they are. It almost feels as if you could reach out and swipe away the “sooty layers” on this realistic wood panelling wallpaper.
It’s easy to bring happy memories of days spent at the shore to a city apartment with an updated take on coastal cottages. This wallpaper has all the graphic appeal of black and white with just enough colour to make it pop.
This light-hearted wallpaper is covered with fishy personalities. The haughty puffers are my favourite. A lovely mixture of found objects as eclectic table décor is seen in front of this most interesting wall. Who knew the appeal of seashells and antique clocks? Images 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8
