Blogging Awards 2016!

It’s that time of year again, where the blogging community is recognised and awarded for its contribution to everything from book reviews, design, tech, interiors, beauty, lifestyle, business and everything in between.

And rightly so!  It seems a breeze, but trust me, finding the time to blog, never mind creating riveting content, is a HUGE challenge sometimes.  And the contribution that bloggers make to their respective industries?  Again, HUGE.  Some are deemed ‘influencers’, backed up with an incredible amount of expertise and some are just plain laugh-out-loud entertaining.

I’m not sure where I stand in the above equation.  Possibly a mix between the two.

Examples?  You want EXAMPLES?  Ok.

There was that time I wrote a thought provoking post about my life changing decision…

Then there was the time I did something COMPLETELY crazy and created photo-real 3D visuals of the Fifty Shades of Grey, Red Room of Pain, BEFORE the movie was released…

Oh, what about the time I redesigned Victoria Beckham’s London office, that was pretty cool, right?

Or what about that time I published the hotly debated topic of Copper vs Brass?  That was a gud’un!

Then there was that time I got my hands dirty and upcycled two chairs that were in DIRE need of it…

Ha!  What about that time I caused blogging havoc when I discussed the ol’ CGI vs Hand Rendering argument!  Blimey, I ruffled a few feathers with that one.

But I provide handy hints ‘n’ tips too.  There was the post about using Photoshop brushes, where I also gave myself a really complimentary makeover…

And that time I lined up my cushions for their very first photo-shoot, to discuss why these little fellas are the secret weapon of Interior Design.

So, to finally get to the point, my little blog has been nominated for the Amara Interior Blog Awards and it has also been shortlisted for TWO blogging categories of the Littlewoods Ireland Blog Awards 2016.

Even though I’m at two different stages of these blogging awards, they both require votes by the public.  I NEED an award, ok?  I NEED ONE!  I know they’re not important and it’s all about the taking part, yada, yada, yada but I want one.  Just ONE for goodness sake!
